Key Waterproofing and Construction is the best. I was getting water in my cellar and only had a 1/2" of concrete on my floor. Wendel and his crew did a fantastic job putting in a new concrete floor and drain system. They did a lot of hard work. Wendel was great to work with. He is smart, pleasant, and had great ideas. Wendel put everything back the way it was and I have asked him to do some more construction, concrete , and epoxy projects for me because he is so good. Rick is his partner and handled all the upftont sales and pricing and was also great to work with. Their prices were very low and they gave me a great deal. I can't say enough good things about their company. They are a 5 star company I highly recommend and trust completely to do a great job and to make you very satisfied and happy you hired them.

Rick and Wendell were very easy to work with. Rick does sales and Wendell heads the team. We bought the whole package, the drainage system, vapor barrier wrap, new gutters and epoxy floor treatment. We haven't had any huge storms yet but the system worked perfectly for the few rainy days that we've had. Wendell and his team did a great job, especially on the drain system. It looks great, they cleaned up all the debris and removed it. I am confident that we'll have a dry basement from now on, plus they give you a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

I hired Key Waterproofing to replace the sump pump, install backup battery, redirect the drainage lines, and install a leaching drainage well. They were knowledgeable, prompt, hard working, and the price was reasonable. I will definitely keep them in mind for my next project.

Normally, these types of reviews are crap... you can never be sure that some shmuck is lying... I am 100% REAL! These guys were not kidding around. They were quick, efficient, and the cleanup was better than if I hired a company to come in. I have been getting water in my basement for YEARS... contractors have been trying to gouge me with the most outrageous prices and lies about what I needed to solve the problem. Rick and Wendel, a winning combination. Rick 1st: he explained EVERYTHING that I needed to know in order to make a decision... no pressure applied. He had models and his presentation went into why his solution was the best. Cost... they work with working families, I felt comfortable, like my uncle was giving me sound advice. Wendel... he is quiet, thoughtful and quick. The crew was supper professional and fast... What others tried to tell me would take 3-4 days, was 2 days for this team, and I was done with more than 80% done on the 1st day. Rick recommended a solution better than those of two competitive bidders, and Wendel's crew was in place and working 36 hours after the hire--which was remarkable. Good price, too. The work dovetailed, in structure and scheduling, with the work of our staircase carpenters. Overall very positive, but I would suggest better postwork cleanup including a more complete removal of unused materials (e.g. a giant sheet of plywood left behind).

Our basement was in terrible shape with ancient cratered floor and frequent water and dampness issues, and we wanted a dry basement with useable space. The Key guys’ pricing was about the same as another well-known competitor, but Key offered and delivered more services including, notably, removing the entire existing floor and several inches of dirt below and rebuilding with layers of stone and concrete, in addition to installing the expected water infiltration collection system and water barrier wall panels. Wendel and Rick were very clear up front in describing what was needed and how they would solve the problems. They were very responsive throughout the process when we had questions, replying to phone and text messages right away. They completed the work in the time frame promised. We ended up with a beautiful, dry, clean smelling, clean looking basement.

Rick was so professional with his estimate, and Wendel and his crew did a fabulous job. You wouldn't even know the system was installed. They returned my call immediately and came out to check out the damage very promptly. Rick described a number of options that would address my issue and was sensitive to my concerns about price. Once we settled on a plan, they came out quickly and did the work very in a highly professional manner. I assumed that I would have to hire other contractors to address the wall and flooring damage, but they were able to handle all of that as well. My impression is that there's almost nothing these guys can't do! Given their knowledge, responsiveness, quality, and attention to detail, I expect to use them for all sorts of work in the future.
